Good, Good, Morning Prayer

It is wonderful to begin any day with Morning Prayer. It helps us connect to God, focus our attention to what is truly important in the day to come, and gives us a chance to center ourselves in faith. So we are adding this practice to our regular worship schedule here at St. Paul’s by-the-Sea. Every Wednesday at 10am, we will gather in the church to make a regular, mid-week morning, a Good, GOOD, morning. This will be a chance to worship more informally than usual. Each Wednesday, we will spend time learning about the saint commemorated on that day through the Holy Women, Holy Men book, as we pray the daily office of Morning Prayer. Some weeks we will gather around the altar for Eucharist. Every week we will take time after prayer to check in with each other and have the opportunity to share anything that might be happening in our lives that week.

Bueno, bueno, la Oración Matutina
Es maravilloso comenzar el día con la Oración Matutina. Nos ayuda a conectarnos con Dios, enfocar nuestra atención en lo que realmente es importante en el día que está por venir y nos da la oportunidad de centrarnos en nuestra fe. Por eso, estamos agregando esta práctica a nuestro horario regular de adoración aquí en St. Paul’s by-the-Sea. Todos los miércoles a las 10 am, nos reuniremos en la iglesia para hacer de una mañana de mitad de semana, un buen, BUEN, día. Esta será una oportunidad para adorar de manera más informal de lo habitual. Cada miércoles, pasaremos tiempo aprendiendo sobre el santo conmemorado en ese día a través del libro “Holy Women, Holy Men”, mientras rezamos la oficina diaria de la Oración Matutina. Algunas semanas nos reuniremos alrededor del altar para la Eucaristía. Cada semana tomaremos un tiempo después de la oración para poner al día con los demás y tener la oportunidad de compartir cualquier cosa que pueda estar sucediendo en nuestras vidas esa semana.
