Serve the Church

In order for the church to flourish, we need all the gifts of all the people God has joined together here. Will you join us in serving your church?

Altar Guild

“The ministry of the altar guild deals with using various objects and elements to create a sacred space for worship, specifically Communion. Their tasks have a profound impact on the life of the church. The beauty of altar guild work has true theological value. It says something about how we care for what we do as well as how we care for people. It tells us that every detail has significance, and every task is important.”

The Rt. Rev. Gregory O. Brewer, Bishop of Central Florida, Province IV

Choir

Our choir is led by Shirley Toms Hailey, who has been the Music Director of St. Paul’s by-the-Sea for over 45 years. We are a small ensemble, welcoming to all who love to sing. While there is music at every service, the choir does not perform on a weekly basis. However, we are there for major holidays and events and lead from the congregation when we are not vested. We sing from Hymnal 1982, Lift Every Voice and Sing II, and Wonder, Love, and Praise, as well as from music selected by the Music Director.
