Ecumenical Easter Vigil:
On Holy Saturday, April 15, at 7:00 pm, we will celebrate the Easter Vigil in conjunction with St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. My vision is to have an intimate and faithful celebration. We will meet on the beach on Third Street for a bonfire. As we gather around, we will share the stories of our salvation in our own words: Creation, The Flood, The Sacrifice of Isaac, and Israel’s Deliverance At the Red Sea. Finally, we will share with each other our Resurrection visions. We will then enjoy a pot luck shared meal, or agape meal, from our coolers around the bonfire. In the course of the meal, we will break the bread and share the common loaf and share the common cup of wine. Please join us and bring a covered dish for our shared meal. Anyone who wishes to have a role in this storytelling, please let Fr. Matt know so we may prepare together. In the case of rain, we will gather in the parish hall for our storytelling and common meal.
