The Rev. Daniel Meck – ‘Dan’
After spending his formative years in the Diocese of Easton – baptized, confirmed, and actively engaged at St. Mark’s in Perryville, Dan ended up in Baltimore in the neighboring Diocese of Maryland.
At the time of his ordination twenty-one years ago, he was serving as the associate rector at St. David’s in Roland Park. In 2007 he was called to be the Chaplain at St. Paul’s School, leading chapel services and teaching in the boys’ middle school.
With the recent unification of the St. Paul’s Schools (boys’, girls’, and co-ed pre/lower) under one leadership structure, Dan is now in a new role as the Head Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Life for the entire campus. Going forward he will oversee the chapel programs, religious studies curricula, and service learning throughout the Schools’ community.
Dan currently lives on campus with his wife, Kelly, the boys’ upper school registrar and college counseling assistant, and their son Matthew, a senior at St. Paul’s.
