SPBTS Book Club’s next meeting is on October 17th at 7pm via Zoom

October 17th – The Marriage of Opposites by Alice Hoffman will
be discussed. This book was recommended by Nancy Baxter,
who will lead the discussion. “A luminous, Marquez-esque tale”

author of The Museum of Extraordinary Things: a forbidden love
story set on a tropical island about the extraordinary woman who
gave birth to painter Camille Pissarro–the Father of

On November 21, we will discuss The Rules of Civility by Amor
Towles. From the New York Times-bestselling author of A
Gentleman in Moscow and The Lincoln Highway, a “sharply stylish” (Boston Globe)
book about a young woman in post-Depression era New York who suddenly finds
herself thrust into high society.
