We are very pleased to announce that the Shepherd’s Crook is returning to St. Paul’s by-the Sea at 302 North Baltimore Ave. in Ocean City Md 21842. We will continue serving the hungry beginning Tuesday July 17th from 10am to Noon. Please use the North side door located at the top of the new driveway.
The good news is that the Shepherd’s Crook Food Pantry is poised to reopen next week. After that we are able to staff the Crook with the two volunteers required by policy on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday’s. NO Wednesdays, Friday’s or Sundays at this time!
We are in need of volunteers in order to make this sustainable. In the past, parishioners from other congregations have volunteered, but some have moved on.
The Shepherd’s Crook Food Pantry, serving over 16,000 meals last year to Ocean City’s Food Unstable population, has relocated to St. Paul’s by-the-Sea parish hall at 302 North Baltimore Avenue, and will reopen on July 17. It will serve our community on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:00 am until noon. We are open all year. Please consider volunteering with our community. We need volunteers who can make a two hour commitment to a particular day weekly or every other week. We will offer training and parking is available behind the parish hall. For more information, feel free to contact Jane Ellis, Shepherd’s Crook coordinator, at 540-808-6055 or firstname.lastname@example.org. or the church office 410-289-3453 or email@example.com
Thanks a bunch!
