Just thought I’d send you some pictures from Saturday’s Celebration Eucharist of the Bishop’s Institute.
The first is of the Commission on Ministry members present, and the other two are of the Deacon Postulants present at the celebration. This Bishop’s Institute is located at St. Paul’s Chapel on Route 50 in Hebron, and will serve as an educational institute for lay members of the Diocese of Easton in the southern and middle parts of the Diocese. The two other locations will be Bray House in Easton, and St. Stephen’s, Earlville.
For your information, those pictured in the Commission on Ministry picture are:
Front row, left to right: Debbie Shuster (St. Paul’s by-the-Sea), The Very Rev. Michael Moyer (St. Paul’s, Berlin), Rev. Canon Dr. Dan Dunlap, Canon Theologian (Old Trinity, Church Creek and St. John’s, Cornersville), Sandy Bjork (Emmanuel);
Standing, left to right: Rev. Nicholas Sichangi (Trinity-Elkton and St. Stephen’s-Earlville), Phil Tilghman (St. Philip’s Quantico) and Rev. Dick Bunting (St. Paul’s, Berlin)
The second and third pictures are of the Deacon Postulants who were present at the installation. For your information, I’ve noted where the four Deacon Postulants from our southern convocation are members, and where they are doing their first six months of interning. I hope you find this interesting.
In the second picture, the Deacon Postulants, standing left to right are: Alisha King, member St. Alban’s, Salisbury currently interning at Church of the Holy Spirit; Chris Sabas, member St. Alban’s, Salisbury, currently interning at St. Mary the Virgin, Pocomoke, Stephanie Clayville, member All Hallow’s, currently interning at St. Peter’s Salisbury, Jim Kamahachi, Barbara Coleman, and Laura McCarthy, member, St. Peter’s Salisbury, currently interning at St. Paul’s by-the-Sea. Laura is also the Co-Director of the Bishop’s Institute!
