| Education is a critical component of St. Paul's mission and ministry. A variety of educational offerings are available for people of all ages.
St. Pauls' core education program is Faith Forum -- an intergenerational topic-based course held every Sunday between the early and late eucharistic celebrations. Featuring occasional guest presentations, and regular leadership from Father David, the Faith Forum spans a range of subjects and involves participants in the teaching process.
Wednesday night book studies -- held occasionally, these studies delve into some of the most fundamental questions and concepts of the Christian faith. Participants engage in spirited conversation about the contemporary or classic work they are reading. Some recent book selections include: God's Politics by Jim Wallis, The Practice of Prayer by Margaret Guenther, and The Meaning of Jesus: Two Visions by N.T. Wright and Marcus Borg.
Also on Wednesdays is a lectionary Bible study. Held after the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist, this informal group gathers to dicuss the upcoming Sunday's scripture selections. We hope you will drop us a line to learn more about the educational offerings at St. Paul's by-the-Sea.
